Borobudur is the world’s biggest Buddhist monument built in the 9th century reflecting Gupta architecture. This wonder has survived many natural disasters and it still stands in its glory.

Today drawing many visitors to see the spectacular sunrise and sunsets
The sunlight cascading on Borobudur exposes its sheer breathtaking beauty. In all my travels, I haven’t seen such beauty where nature and architecture collide to create a grand spectacle.

Prambanan temple in Jogjakarta is an outstanding religious complex with temples dedicated to Trinity Brahma Vishnu and Shiva and mini temples for their Vahanaas. Built by rulers of Sanjaya dynasty, the temple was built to honour Shiva and its original name was Shivagraha.

This temple has endured many natural disasters and to this day, there is a standing statue of Shiva in the main temple. To me, witnessing the sunset from here felt mystical like being in the abode of gods from a bygone era
